You are welcome to mail a general donation to Greenway Friends of Fairfax in support of the Development & Alumni Office, or check our Wish List for items needed and Scholarship information, where you can choose to donate for a specific item or cause.

Message from the 2012 President
A Fairfax Circle...
Those reading this message will have graduated from Fairfax Senior High School at various times over the past 86 or so years, and will have gone forward to do many different things in life.
However the experience, the benefits of those high school years will stay with each of us forever. Of the many directions our lives have taken, the Fairfax experience was without a doubt one of the key influential blocks upon which many of our futures were built.
And it is exactly the same with those young people currently attending our school. The ambition to seek higher education and discover life’s new horizons still resides within the members of the current student body.
But while the ambition remains the same, a new reality has taken hold which makes success less probable. One need only read the local newspaper to learn of the very difficult financial stresses Fairfax and other schools are facing. And those difficulties limit the resources schools can provide.
So while that is certainly not good news, there is indeed a way to come together and help provide support for securing the same level of education at Fairfax from which we benefited.
As of January 2012, we have revived the Fairfax High Alumni Association (inactive for over 10 years, and quite possibly a contributing factor to the decline of support for programs and services at Fairfax). We hope to be able to count on our vast alumni to participate on a regular, annual membership and donation basis to raise funds in support of completing the circle from our own education to that of current (and future) Fairfax students.
